Hey, Cindy, I love the photo of your veggies! Here is a photo of some of the bounty from our garden! You can imagine how excited I was to see that those little seeds we planted in late May really actually turn into something by mid-summer, with barely any help at all on my part! Corn to come soon--about three ears, I think! Maybe we should pair your veggies with mine over the weekend and have a big family garden salad. I'd like to try to grill some. What do you think?
I also loved the little verse. Did you make it up? I could live on fresh tomatoes and a great book. And seeing you. I'm looking forward to our family weekend!

I packed a bunch of cherry tomatoes, some peppers, and a squash. I think a family salad sounds delish. :)
I did the verse on my own. I was just thinking how good the veggies looked, and how awesome it is that Bud shared the garden with us. It has been very helpful in not feeling "deprived", during the tight budget. Then, I got to thinking about the other good things I haven't had to pay for, well with the exception of the roof over our heads. :) But, it is there, and it keeps us safe.
