So, Jenn.... one question. How do they know it's Halloween there at Newbury Comics??
Just wondering.....
For all of you out there, it's not very nice for someone to bring up such a painful memory for a loved one.
There I was....in the barn attic at Ralph Shaws for a Youth Group dance........and Skip Hoffman was playing songs for all of the girls........and then it was my turn. I thought maybe "Surfer Girl" but no.
You Ain't Nothin' but a Hound Dog!!!!!!!!!!
I wish he were here right now, darn him. I'd kick him in the knee today. But back then, boo-hoo!!
Happy Halloween, one and all!
P.S. Tell your man Mike that I stayed up half the night to see the Red Sox WIN THE WORLD SERIES! Two in four years. He owes me a hot dog.

hey so you know i had to wait until the day after to hear bout the sox winning the series, due to us moving ammo during the game.
How come I don't recall this story?
Man, it stinks to be the "baby" sometimes. :) I do remember the people, though.
LOL!
haha, I'll let mike know he owes you a hot dog, and I guess one trick or treater went to Newbury and John (the manager) let them pick any candy off the shelf to take with them, I guess they were just a kid. But we do sell some of the best costume stuff in town, not many places has such a wide variety of stockings as we do! I wish I had worked halloween night, because I would have fixed up a wicked sweet costume to wear!
Oh, and I'm sorry I brought up such a bad moment in your life, Aunt Cindy, it is a sad story and I do feel bad....but I have to smirk when I think about it!! =)
ME?? I don't anything about it! no hard feelings Jenn. :)
