It's Autumn In Vermont

For all of you nuts that are away from the tree, it's absolutely GEORGEOUS here on the home back 40!!

The hills are just glowing with all shades of reds and yellows and oranges, set against the dark green of the evergreens. It's amazing to me that so many colors can actually exist in one place, sometimes even on one tree!

The air is crisp and clear, it smells sooo good!! i was driving in to work this morning and it reminded me of the days of Clyde's with the smell of crushed apples and the taste of icy cold fresh cider. Orange pumpkins with scary faces, their seeds EVERYWHERE! What fun!!

Winter is not far away but for today i will rejoice in this day and it's beauty and thank the God who created it for His generosity.

You will have to dream of the delicous cider, as it is so processed now you can get the smae taste at Wlamart. :(
However, it is fun to go and sit on the porch and eat caramel apples and drink cider. I can't get the feeling from the discount place. :)
Our colors are coming into paly as well. I truly enjoyed the ride hom today with the sun blazing on the colored trees.
Fall is my favorite time of year!

Hey, wait a minute....
How did you post so late at night? Been sneaking into Kathy's computer room? :)
At least I know if I come for a week, I can go to class without it being a covert operation. :)
Love seeing you here, Mumsie. :)

You caught her! She came over last night and we played on the computer. With the wonder of wireless, we each had our own to play with!

Clyde's was recently featured in the first re-issue of Victoria magazine. I remember it well from my childhood. Clydes and looking for the perfect pumpkin.
