NOT a beauty school drop out!

Well, after a long emotional couple of days, I've come to my decision. I'll stay in hair school and finish it up, even though I don't need to be there. I talked with mom and dad yesterday about it and they made a good point. Why start something, work at it, and then just give up!? This was a good life lesson for me, start what you finish damn it! Nathan also helped me out with the criminal law thing, I know I can't be a crazy looking person in that department. I just felt very stripped of my indentity with this, I want to be who I want to be, and that hair school puts a damper on that. The girls in my class felt the same way (they aren't any where near as far out as I am though, lol they tame themselves) Soo...I'll just take my lip ring out for the couple hours, and then put it back in. Not that bad eh? Mike said I need to suck it up, it's not a big deal. <<33>

Hey Jenn! I'm so proud of you. Being an adult is not all it's cracked up to be some days and you've made the ADULT decision. We all value our own personal identity and respect your desire for self expression. That said, I agree with Mom and Dad. Maybe you don't care about cosmo but finishing makes a big difference. You'll see it's true in hindsight. I love you and I'm cheering for you! Love, Aunt Kathy

Just think Jenn, a lip ring is just a material part of who you are- you are still the same person without it, so you aren't losing any part of yourself by not being able to have it in during class. Style can be important, but more important is how you carry and handle yourself- and I think you did pretty well with this situation! Ahh, these transition to adult decisions, they can be so troublesome! Haha. But I think you're doing great! Miss you, love you!
